1. Watch what you eat.

This may sound like cliché advice but you are what you eat. Remember that as you age, your metabolism will not be as fast as when you are younger, so there could already be some restrictions to your diet.

The same thing applies to having too much salt in your diet - it can lead to developing kidney stones. A moderate balance between sugar and salt is always a good compromise.

Ask your doctor to prescribe vitamin supplements to make up for whatever nutrient it is which is lacking in your diet.

4. Boost up on antioxidants.

One of the best ways to reverse the signs of aging from showing on your face and body is by boosting up on antioxidants. Eat a lot of fruits and veggies which have a high antioxidant content.

5. Try to minimize your exposure to the sun.

If you want to prevent sun damage from showing sun spots and age spots on your skin, try to minimize your exposure to the sun as much as possible. If it can't be helped, always wear sun protection.
