Guide to Getting Rid of Acne, Scars, and Bacne

What is Acne Vulgaris, and is Bacne or Adult Back Acne any different?
Many factors go into the formation of acne, scars, and bacne, otherwise known as acne on back. The primary culprits are sebum, an oil produced by sebaceous glands beginning in puberty, bacteria, and a build-up of dead skin cells. Acne and back acne causes are generally the same, except causes of back acne can also include things like allergens in detergents or irritation from clothing. Fortunately, if you take proper steps in your acne and back acne treatment, you will be in a great position to prevent back acne, facial acne, and reduce acne scars.

How do you get rid of Acne Scars and Bacne Scars?
Prevention is the name of the game. Treat your skin right and it will be in a great position to heal without scars, and it will produce less acne over time, naturally leading to long-term acne scar reduction. The exception to this statement is very bad acne, medically known as cystic acne or nodulocystic acne. This is acne that forms as cysts very deep in the skin, and will cause permanent scarring if not treated rapidly by a dermatologist.Otherwise, ensure that the following home remedies for acne scars are in place before seeking more advanced acne or back acne treatments:

* Drink at least Eight Glasses of Water per day: Water is a necessary factor in pretty much every process that takes place in our bodies, including skin healing, fading acne scars, and flushing toxins and bacteria more quickly. Additionally, a well watered pore is less likely to get clogged.
* Go to the Gym: While sweat is not great for your skin, a body that functions well and frequently will not retain sebum, dead skin cells, and bacteria in its pores. Fewer clogged pores means less acne which means fewer acne scars.
* Eat your Vegetables: Ensure that you get enough fruits and vegetables. Vitamins and minerals are almost as important as water is in making our bodies function optimally. If for whatever reason you can't achieve a balanced diet every day, take a multi-vitamin. Your body is way better at absorbing the elements from food than it is from a pill, but it's better than nothing.
* Have a Steak: Your body uses protein to repair your skin after an acne breakout. If you can't get or don't eat meat, add a little whey protein or soy protein to your diet.
* Be Gentle: Go easy on your skin when washing and drying. Irritation actually makes acne and acne scarring much worse. Wash gently with either a medicated soap or plain Ivory, and pat dry. Treat back acne similarly, except you can exfoliate a little with a loofah.
* Moisturize: Apply a non-comedogenic moisturizer to dry skin, your choice of medicated or non-medicated. Benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid are fine choices. Keep skin irritation to a minimum by using the weakest concentration that you can get away with.

Healthy skin and a healthy body are great defenses against acne, bacne and acne scars. Give this regimen a couple of months, and if you are still not achieving the acne reduction and healing that you seek, investigate more advanced routines.
