Barbell curls are the most common exercise that people use to train the biceps. In fact I would say that for a lot of people it's the only exercise that they use to train the biceps.
The thing is...you've got to keep them biceps guessing. If you just use the same exercise time after time then they will go into a comfort zone and your muscle growth will start to slow down.
The key is to mix things up!
The next time you go to the gym do some hammer curls and incline dumbbell curls. This will shock your body into taking action and drag your biceps kicking and screaming out of their comfort zone.
Another great tip to build huge biceps is to add more weight but do fewer reps, this has the same effect as when you switch around your exercises...it shocks your biceps and they will start to grow.
As you can see if you fall into the trap of just doing the same thing over and over again when you go to the gym then you will struggle to see the gains that you want. Mix things up and in no time at all you will have those huge biceps that have always desired.
